If it is noon on the east coast, it is already 6:00 p.m. in Germany. Or, if it is 6:00 a.m in New York, Washington, D.C., etc., it is noon in Germany.

Good luck!
I found out that Wiley Kaserne and Nelson Kaserne in Neu Ulm were closed in 1991! Hey, I was stationed there! Thank you, Voters !!!

If you have never called an international phone number before, go to

http://www.ehow.com/how_4868591_dial-lon鈥?/a> :

Step 1: Dial the EXIT CODE for the US--011

Step 2: Dial Country Code --Germany - 49

Step 3: Dial City Code (area code) --( Area codes can be from 2 to 5 digits long), so I assume it would be 0731.

Step 4: Dial Local Number --(Local numbers can be anywhere from 3 to 9 digits in length.), so I assume it would be 187387.

(If all else fails, go through an international operator)
New Ulm is in MN. Try looking for Ulm, Germany. Is your brother in the service?

This is not a genealogy question. Try putting this question in the travel section to see if someone from Germany knows the place.

Someone must have notified you. Do they have the number?
