I have an all-day doctor's appointment in Houston three-weeks from now, so I'm planning to fly into to Houston Continental the day before my ordeal. A restaurant around the Rice Village area would be perfect.What are some good mid-priced restaurants within hotel shuttle range of the Houston Medical Center Marriot?
I agree, Rice Village would be a great place to try out a few places.



For breakfast, I would try Le Peep or Buffalo Grille.



For lunch, try Nit Noi, Hungry's or Benjy's.



For dinner, try Prego, Kubo's (sushi) or Ruggles.

Don't know the exact range of your hotel shuttle -- if you're going to eat one restaurant meal in Houston, it would make sense to do it at a Tex-Mex place. My favorites in that realm are (in order) Chuy's on Westheimer, Pappasito's on Richmond, and Ninfa's near Kirby and Richmond -- all located w/in about 3 miles of the Marriott.
