I have a family member in serious condition at Hermann Hospital and it is costing around $12 a day to park. Is there any way to get a discount or a cheaper parking lot in the area. We leave very late at night so it has to stay open until at least 1AMHow can I save money parking at Hermann Hospital in the Houston medical center?
Yes, I know what you mean. It's expensive.
If you park in TMC garage you can buy a 5 day prepaid pass for $52. Still a lot of money.
There is an off campus lot with a shuttle bus that is about $6 per day.
Even cheaper is parking at the Metro Rail lot and riding the rail in. It stops right in front of the hospital.
The cheapest thing to do is use the free zoo parking and then walking. The lot is located on golf course drive and the walk is about 1 mile. (not a good idea at 1 am)
Ask one of the voulunteers at the information desk for their suggestions.
