Stonybrook Vs University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center?

I was accepted in 3 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships: LSU- Baton Rouge, UT-Southwestern Medical Center and Stonybrook University. I am considering attending grad school in the east, however I am not sure which institution is better. UT ranks quite high in research, but I wouldn't mind attending grad school at Stonybrook.. Which is better?Stonybrook Vs University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center?
On balance, I'd choose Stonybrook. For science and related fields it has a very good reputation. But UT also has a good reputation, but each of those reputations is stronger in its local area. So if you are planning to be in the northeast, would go with Stonybrook. If southwest, south or west, UT. I prefer NY over Texas, so that would be the decider for me.
